My Mother gave me a "Gasp"

My mom complemented me on my hair.

She didn't do that much as I grew up. She liked my hair short. I grew it long. No complements.

My hair is long now. A real nice style - my hairdresser does wonders. She has even custom created the color it is right now.

Anyway, my mom complemented me on my hair, then came in for a closer look because I told her that it has been three months since my last cut and color.

She saw my gray strands.

I heard a "gasp" as she stepped back.

Yes mom, I am almost 40. I may not act it but my hair constantly reminds me that I am getting older.

I need to get to my hairdresser more often or my mom may suffer a heart attack the next time.

This sounds just like grandma! I've had the Boldig curls all my life. Everytime I straighten it everyone loves it....grandma hates it! "WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?"
