My 2008 summer to do list...
- Take the kids to the Dells (in particular, Noah's Ark)
- Go to the summer movie series - they are just $2.50 a movie WITH popcorn and they have movies the kids have not seen yet!
- Go to the museum and the zoo in Milwaukee
- Host a 4th of July Party and invite the friends
- See more of Don and Julie and Jon and Candy - we had such blast with them this past weekend, we have to get together with them more often!
- Exercise with Kim - ride our bikes further than we have in the past summers!
- Learn how to use the new exercise thing my husband got for me.
- Scrapbook
- Get together with Catherine and Sarah over summer - with and without the kids!
- Get the upstairs finished (painted, furnished and looking put-together)
- Do my curriculum work early in the summer rather than leaving it until the last days before school begins.
- Keep track of the funny quotes my kids say (for example, the kids were talking about something that their dad bought at a rummage sale and how much it cost. My son says "But you need to include the shipping and handling!"
- Visit my relatives - my Grandma and Grandpa, my sister, Alex's mom and sisters
- Go to the beach
- Create and hide a letterbox with the kids
- Begin a summer reading book club
- Play more Rock Band
- Have some date nights with the husband
