NEWS!

Last Friday our kids went to Chess practice like any other Friday, except, last Friday was a Tournament Day (we didn't know it). Our son was First Place for the K-5 category! He was so excited. He played in four matches and won each of them! Just think how he might have done had he been wearing his glasses. Yes, we are in the process now of getting his glasses. We've gone shopping to two different stores to find stylish, low maintenance, durable and cheap (we're on a budget) glasses. We may have a winner. When it's all done, I'll post a picture of our sharp looking boy.

Also, this past week our daughter received her information at the Brownie meeting for Girl Scout cookie sales. Yes, if we call or stop by, our girl will hit you up for some cookies. She has a goal of selling 500 boxes this year. I guess my goal will be to organize and distribute 500 boxes of cookies this year.
